Bring light, comfy clothes to Seychelles—not as light as Eve’s though (see bathing rules under beaches). Average temperature in this tropical haven is around 28°C never going cooler than 24°C, if at all, or hotter than 32°C, but its high humidity inland and at sea can intensify the heat to a roast, often assuaged by relaxing sea breezes. Except for the remotest southern islands, most of Seychelles’ 115 islands float safely outside the cyclone belt, allowing visitors and inhabitants to lap up all they want of beach and sun during the day and relish the mild evenings when humidity levels tone down while gentle winds caress the foliage.
