Aside from its fashionable, exclusive and agricultural reputation, Marbella stands out globally for its variety of excellent sports facilities and activities. Golfaholics rejoice! You can play a game every day of the year in any of many golf courses, one of which is the first illuminated golf courses in Europe and the tenth in the world where golf can be part of your nightlife! It’s not called "golfers paradise" for nothing.

Marbella’s three ports offer sailing and other water activities. Then there are tennis schools and clubs, gyms and sports centers, boat cruises along the coast and Strait, snorkeling, action sailing, dolphin-watching. Not to be beat, the grand mountains surrounding Marbella seduce trekkers and such. A host of companies can facilitate any of the above.
