Bali’s Indonesian Rupiah reportedly can’t sit still for too long, but you would be safe to expect anywhere from 8000 to 11000 to one US Dollar. Choose reputable money changers. There’s plenty.

Languages

Although the general tongue spoken is Bahasa Indonesian or the complex local Balinese language, you need not know either to communicate as many natives understand basic English. A little sign and body language would help at times.
