Barcelona's intimate association with the Mediterranean Sea affords her a friendly, warm, breezy climate all year round, allowing water sports and activities any time of year. The city gets pleasantly washed with heavy downpours averaging 1,000mm per year, nourishing the lush verdant spots scattered about the city.

Barcelona begins the year at its coldest, 10ºC, gradually escalating to 18ºC by May. From June to September are the highest temperatures, a pleasant 21ºC- 25ºC till September, after which it gradually dips again to December’s 12ºC. Of course, it must be noted here that with the climate change affecting every part of the planet, this may change drastically without prior notice.
