5 days Murchison - Kibale
Day 0. Arrival and hotel transfer.
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and received by your driver guide who will then brief you as he transfers you to your hotel for overnight at Golf course Hotel(BB)Day 1: Kampala - Murchison Falls
After an early morning breakfast, depart Kampala driving northwest towards Murchison Falls National Park. Stop over at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, for a nature walk to see the rhinos in the wild. After lunch, proceed to Murchison Falls, the largest national park in Uganda, .Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge Sambiya river lodge.(FB)
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive on the Northern bank where you will be able to spot a great number of animals and birds. Return to the lodge for Lunch. Afternoon, you will enjoy a three hours boat ride to the base of the falls”, expect to see: hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer stretch you may also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs. Return to Paraa Safari Lodge, diner and overnight stay.( FB)
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale forest national park
After breakfast depart Murchison Falls and drive Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. driving through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro Kitara kingdom, passing through verdant countryside traditional homesteads and tea plantations. You will arrive in Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, proceeding to arrive at Park, dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge (FB)
Day 4: Kibale National Park
This morning after your early breakfast, you will spend most of the morning in the forest in search of chimpanzees. These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but forest walk is an enriching activity that starts at 8.00 am in the morning taking about 4 to 5 hours. This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other primates including Lhoestes, Red-colobus, Blues, Red-tailed, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds, and butterflies. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. Have a game drive en-route, arriving at the Lodge, with its wonderful location on top of the Mweya peninsula Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge (FB)
Day 5: Kibale forest national park – Kampala/Entebbe.
After an early morning breakfast, transfer Kibale back to Kampala via Kasese that allows you an enroute game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park, lunch shall be served in Mbarara town at Agip motel, proceeding later to arrive in Kampala/Entebbe.
