Day 0. Arrival and hotel transfer.

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and received by your driver guide who will then brief you as he transfers you to your hotel for overnight at Metropole Hotel / Hotel Africana (BB)

 

Day 2: Kampala - Murchison Falls

 After an early morning breakfast, depart Kampala driving northwest towards Murchison Falls National Park. Stop over at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, for a nature walk to see the rhinos in the wild. After lunch, proceed to Murchison Falls, the largest national park in Uganda, .Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge FB

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

Embark on an early morning game drive on the Northern bank where you will be able to spot a great number of animals and birds. Return to the lodge for Lunch. Afternoon, you will enjoy a three hours boat ride to the base of the falls”, expect to see: hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer stretch you may also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs. Return to Paraa Safari Lodge, diner and overnight stay. FB

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale forest national park

After breakfast depart Murchison Falls and drive Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. driving through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro Kitara kingdom, passing through verdant countryside  traditional homesteads and tea plantations. You will arrive in Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, proceeding to arrive at Park, dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge FB

Day 5: Kibale National Park   

This morning after your early breakfast, you will spend most of the morning in the forest in search of chimpanzees. These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but forest walk is an enriching activity that starts at 8.00 am in the morning  taking about 4 to 5 hours. This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other primates including Lhoestes, Red-colobus, Blues, Red-tailed, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds, and butterflies. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. Have a game drive en-route, arriving at the Lodge, with its wonderful location on top of the Mweya peninsula Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge FB

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning warm up tea or coffee, transfer for a game drive in search of  animals such as lions, Kobs, Topis and many others. Drive back to the lodge for a late breakfast, relaxing into the lunch hour, after lunch , enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel  This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge FB

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

 After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi with your packed lunch, via the Ishasha sector of the Park in search of the  tree climbing lions found only in this area of Uganda. The landscape is open savannah with acacia trees, proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight at Ruhija GorillaLodge. FB

Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be briefed by the park rangers before entering the gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is dense and is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is an exciting and memorable experience.  Gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with one another. In the evening,Dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge. FB

Day 9: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast,you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park in Uganda; have a game drive en route to the lodge, arriving to have your lunch at the lodge, after lunch, take an afternoon boat ride lake Mburo , diner and overnight at Mihingo lodge FB

Day 10. Lake Mburo – Kampala

After an early breakfast, head for game drive that allows you to view animals like Eland, Topis, Impalas, zebras and many more, before proceeding later back to Kampala that allows you a lunch break in Masaka at Total Restaurant, driving later  to the city or transfer to Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
