14 DAYS UGANDA SAFARI
14 DAYS UGANDA SAFRI
Day 1: Arrival and hotel transfer.
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and received by your driver guide who will then brief you as he transfers you to your hotel for overnight at Metropole Hotel/Hotel Africana(BB)

Day 2: Kampala 鈥 Jinja
After your early breakfast, drive to the town of Jinja for a visit to Bujagali falls, Adrift camp, the Source of the Nile, and proceed for Lunch at Sunset Hotel. Afternoon, drive back to Kampala. You may stop at Mabira forest for a primate view and Ssezibwa falls (The beautiful and spiritual Ssezibwa falls have long been the favorite of the Kabakas(Kings). Here the 鈥渂lack- river water鈥 tumbles over the rocks into the pool below and a traditional healer performs ceremonies for those seeking love, children, a good harvest, or successful business deal), proceeding back to Kampala. Overnight   Metropole Hotel /Hotel Africana(BB)

Day 3: Kampala - Murchison Falls
 After an early morning breakfast, depart Kampala driving northwest towards Murchison Falls National Park. Stop over at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, for a nature walk to see the rhinos in the wild. After lunch, proceed to Murchison Falls, the largest national park in Uganda, .Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Sambiya river lodge FB

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive on the Northern bank where you will be able to spot a great number of animals and birds. Return to the lodge for Lunch. Afternoon, you will enjoy a three hours boat ride to the base of the falls鈥, expect to see: hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer stretch you may also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs. Return to Paraa Safari Lodge,/ Sambiya river lodge, diner and overnight stay. (FB)

Day 5, 16th Oct 2010: Murchison Falls National Park 鈥 Kibale forest national park

After breakfast depart Murchison Falls and drive Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. driving through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro Kitara kingdom, passing through verdant countryside  traditional homesteads and tea plantations. You will arrive in Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, proceeding to arrive at Park, dinner and overnight at Primate LodgeMountains of Moon hotel( FB)

Day 6: Kibale National Park 
 
This morning after your early breakfast, you will spend most of the morning in the forest in search of chimpanzees. These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but forest walk is an enriching activity that starts at 8.00 am in the morning  taking about 4 to 5 hours. This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other primates including Lhoestes, Red-colobus, Blues, Red-tailed, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds, and butterflies. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest鈥檚 fauna and flora. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. Have a game drive en-route, arriving at the Lodge, with its wonderful location on top of the Mweya peninsula Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge FB


Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning warm up tea or coffee, transfer for a game drive in search of  animals such as lions, Kobs, Topis and many others. Drive back to the lodge for a late breakfast, relaxing into the lunch hour, after lunch , enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel  This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge FB

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
 After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi with your packed lunch, via the Ishasha sector of the Park in search of the  tree climbing lions found only in this area of Uganda. The landscape is open savannah with acacia trees, proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight at Ruhija GorillaLodge. FB

Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be briefed by the park rangers before entering the gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is dense and is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is an exciting and memorable experience.  Gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with one another. In the evening,Dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge. FB

Day 10: Bwindi 鈥 Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast,you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park in Uganda; have a game drive en route to the lodge, arriving to have your lunch at the lodge, after lunch, relax into the evening , diner and overnight at Mihingo lodgeArcadia cottages( FB)

Day 11: Lake Mburo National Park    
 After your breakfast, take a game drive in search of the beautiful impalas, zebras, cape buffalos, elands, oribi and topis, after lunch enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo. The park is a very good opportunity for bird watchers, who will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found here. Overnight at Mihingo lodge Arcadia cottages(FB)

Day 12: Lake Mburo National Park 鈥 Kampala.
After your breakfast, depart Lake Mburo back to Kampala via the equator that allows you perform some simple experiment and take photos here, proceeding to arrive in Kampala where you have a choice to do a short city tour (Kampala) or go shopping , handcraft and souvenirs. overnight at Hotel Africana( BB)

Day 13: Ngamba Island
After your early breakfast, drive to Entebbe arriving for your boat transfer at 8:30 am to Ngamba Island,where you will have a chance to view and take part in feeding the this Cimps, visit Uganda wildlife   education centre, easy evening, overnight at Lake Victoria-Laico hotel.

Day 14. Airport transfer.
On this day, depending on the time your flight, you will be transferred to the airport/relax at leisure before the transfer. before the final transfer to the airport for your flight back , having covered a cross section of attractions of probably one of the greenest countries on earth.
