New Spa at Club Makokola Posted on: Wednesday, April 28, 2010

Club Makokola will be opening the New Lake Spa shortly. With a professional team of staff, the Spa will be managed by "The Personal Touch", the same company that manages the Bush Spa at Mfuwe Lodge. The Spa will offer an extensive menu of massages and treatments and will have 5 massage rooms, a Jacuzzi with sun deck, a relaxation pool and a wide lounge area where Spa guests will be able to enjoy juices and natural products before or after there treatment.

Other news is that the M.V. Sunbird should soon be back into service after a major retrofit, that has seen it re engine and re propped with two new 135 Hp turbo charged motors, new gearboxes and new props. The roof structure has all been re done and the sun beck will now all be in timber. With its new engines, and new transmission, its radar, sonar, GPS and radios the M.V. Sunbird will be licensed to travel at night and will be ideal to travel anywhere on the lake.
