Bagamoyo - Getting There Bagamoyo is accessible from Dar es Salaam by road on public transport or by private car. The roads are good and the travel time is aproximately 3 hours. The historic city may also be reached from Arusha, Moshi via Tanga on the Indian Ocean. The travel time is significantly longer but the scenery along the way is not to be missed.
