ITB Berlin and the new trade fair "tools": A new meeting place of the digital economy in Berlin
New web-based software solutions for the international travel industry – ITB Berlin and ’tools’ present a new platform for the ITB eTravel World 2015 – call for papers announced
Berlin, 22 September 2014 – As of 2015 suppliers of web-based products will be able to showcase their new products at the ITB eTravel World at ITB Berlin, thus providing a focus for digital economy innovations serving the international travel industry. The ’toolsLounge’, which has been tailored to the demands of the digital economy, targets eTravel market players specialising in marketing and sales. In establishing a cooperation between the world’s leading travel trade show and the new trade fair ’tools’, which this year debuted on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, both partners have underlined their roles as digital economy pioneers in the international travel industry. As the new platform for suppliers of web-based business solutions ’tools’ represents an important link. In the age of the digital revolution it provides answers in response to the rising demand for web-based solutions. When the first edition of ’tools’ took place in June it was attended mainly by suppliers specialising in marketing and sales for digital economy enterprises.
At the ‘toolsLounge’ at the ITB eTravel World suppliers will be showcasing their latest products to a wide audience of experts. At ITB Berlin Convention suppliers will be presenting web-based software solutions, examples of best practices and showing how companies can save valuable time with processes, lower costs and smoothly implement integration measures by employing innovative IT solutions.
ITB Berlin is announcing a call for papers that targets speakers from the digital economy. Details on how to apply can be found at: http://www.itb-berlin.com/etravel.
David Ruetz, head of ITB Berlin: “This year’s expansion and relocation of the eTravel World to Hall 6.1 at ITB Berlin was a great success and impressively demonstrated that this segment attracts a high level of interest that extends far beyond Social Media and Mobile Travel Services.“
