Cruise passenger volumes for China were released at the Eighth China Cruise Industry Development Conference which was held in Shanghai on 15 to 18 November. According to the data released at the conference, the number of inbound and outbound cruise passengers reached 1.2 million in the first ten months of this year, highlighting significant growth on previous years. In comparison, the number of passengers for the same periods in 2009 and 2012 was 300,000 and 810,000, respectively. |
