Tanzania Safari Programs
Travel World China | Date锛2012-2-14

I refer to the attached notice, by the Government of Tanzania, for statutory increases in the entrance fees for all sites under the country's Antiquities Department. As a consequence, the entrance fees for Olduvai Gorge have, with immediate effect, been increased by US$ 10 per person (from US$ 5 to USD 15).

All KOBO Safaris Tanzania regular and private departure safaris featuring a drive through Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti (or vice versa) include a visit to Ol Duvai Gorge. The 'included items' list of each of these affected programs indicates a visit to Ol Duvai Gorge. On the 2012 KOBO East Africa Programmes, the affected safaris to which the US$ 10 per person increase will apply are:

English Programs:
- Real Tanzania
- The Grand Tour

Given the short notice and as a sign of goodwill, KOBO Safaris will cover the increase, for all your safari departures up to 29th February 2012. For departures (regular and private) from 01st March 2012, we will be including in your invoice, an extra US$ 10 per person (and US$ 5 per child) to cover for this statutory increase for all affected safari programs. This includes any individual/tailor-made programs/itineraries that have already been directly quoted to you, featuring a visit to Old Duvai Gorge.

Also known as "The Cradle of Mankind”, Ol Duvai is one of the most important prehistoric archaeological sites in the world. It is a steep-sided 48km long ravine in the Great Rift Valley in the eastern Serengeti Plains, close to the Ngorongoro Crater.
