Forbes China released the most developed tourism cities in Mainland China list for 2012. Forbes China ranked the cities by calculating weighted inbound visitors, domestic visitors, foreign exchange receipt from tourism, revenue from domestic tourism, number of star hotels, number of attractions higher than 4A.
Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are Top 3 on this list. Other cities in the Top 10 are Chongqing (Municipality in Southwest China), Hangzhou (Capital of Zhejiang Province), Shenzhen (Guangdong Province), Suzhou (Jiangsu Province), Tianjin (Municipality in North China), Nanjing (Capital of Jiangsu Province), and Wuhan (Capital of Hubei Province). All of these cities are also on China's Best MICE Cities list. |
